Diane Link, Studio Owner
Certified in STOTT Pilates® Intensive Mat-Plus and Intensive Reformer, Advanced Reformer trained ACE Group and Physical Mind Institute, Total Barre Foundation, Endurance I & II.
In 2004, owner Diane Link combined her life-long passion for fitness, a professional career in accounting, and her strong business acumen to create the Edge Pilates studio in the heart of Duluth.
A life-long Duluthian, Diane earned a B.A. degree in business (finance emphasis) from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She worked for the Duluth Federal Government office as a senior accountant for 12 years.
A common thread, throughout her college and professional career, has been teaching at local health and wellness facilities. Her fitness resume dates back over thirty years with her first group fitness certification earned in 1986. Presently, Diane is currently certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE; group fitness) and the Physical Mind Institute, as well as STOTT Pilates® Certified in Intensive Mat-Plus and Intensive Reformer.
In addition to managing the studio, Diane finds great reward in inspiring others to expand their pilates practice. Mentoring students to become certified instructors, and lifelong students of the Joseph pilates theory, has brought Diane full circle in achieving her goal of “opening a business in Duluth where students would have a great social experience combined with access to first class instruction and pilates apparatus’ (such as the Reformer, Arc Barrel, Ladder Barrel, Stability Barres and Cadillac).”
The studio’s staff is trained to offer programming for everyone – including training modifications for special populations including rehabilitation, sports training and injury recovery.
