Studio Policies
Please review prior to booking in for class.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We enforce a 12-hour cancellation policy.
If you do need to cancel, be sure to do so outside of the 12-hour window before class.
Cancelling within the 12-hour window before class will result in the following:
Private Session: $40 late cancel fee
Duet Session: $30 late cancel fee (per person)
Mat Class: Forfeit of credit
* Please note we do not accept cancellations via email or through social media. Clients are responsible for managing reservations through their account.
10-PACK CLIENTS
If you late cancel, you will lose the class from your pack. If you do not show up for class (without managing your spot) you will lose the class automatically.
WHAT ARE LATE CANCELS?
If you cancel your spot within the 12-hour window before class, this will be classified as a late cancel.
Late cancel fees will be processed within 48 hours of the late cancel.
HOW TO CANCEL
Please cancel your spot through your account, via our website or app.
WHY?
When you reserve a session, that spot is held just for you. Late cancellations and no-shows prevent others from booking and impact our ability to operate sustainably. Instructors make room in their schedules—and often commute specifically to the clinic—for your session, and we count on each reserved spot to help keep our small business running.
We always aim to be fair and understanding, and we’ll work with you to make sure our policies are clear. Exceptions are made in cases of illness, injury, or inclement weather.
COMMUNICATION
We are a small team. We do not respond to emails over the weekend unless urgent. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response; however, we make an effort to respond in a timely manner whenever possible. All membership or account-related questions must be communicated via email. We do not respond to such inquiries over social media.
WAITLISTS
We want everyone to have a chance at attending class! Our waitlist management system is set up to auto-enroll members based on the order in which they joined.
Members will receive an email notification when they’ve successfully been added to the class from the waitlist.
Additionally, members will be able to see where they are in line, and how many others are on the waitlist.
The system will stop auto-enrolling 120 minutes before class begins.
Should you no longer wish to attend class, please take yourself off the waitlist to avoid being added and then having to late cancel.
ARRIVING LATE
Please arrive on time for class. Sessions and classes will not be extended due to late arrivals.
MANAGING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
It is important to note that members are solely responsible for managing their own membership. Memberships can be managed via your account or by sending us an email.
The Edge Pilates is not responsible for cancelling a membership on your behalf, unless having received written notice delivered to The Edge Pilates, 9499 Old Bailes Rd., Ste. 114, Fort Mill, SC 29707, no less than 30 days before the renewal date. We do not respond to cancellation requests via social media.
It is the member’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the terms of the membership which are clearly laid out on the Pricing page, purchase page and in Terms & Conditions.
FREEZING MEMBERSHIPS
Members with a term membership (e.g., 12-month, 3-month) may freeze their
membership for non-medical reasons for up to four weeks per calendar year. The minimum freeze period is two consecutive weeks, which may be taken once per year at no cost. An additional two-week freeze within the same calendar year is available for a $50 fee.
Members with a term membership (e.g., 12-month, 3-month) may freeze their membership for medical reasons for up to three months per calendar year. The minimum freeze period is two consecutive weeks. There are no fees for a medical freeze. A doctor’s note is required, specifying the start date of the freeze and the date the member is cleared to resume exercise.
Freezing your membership pauses billing, which will automatically resume at the end of the freeze period. Any use of The Edge Pilates during the freeze will immediately terminate the freeze. Military Member: If at any time during the term of your agreement, you are deployed or assigned to active duty, The Edge Pilates will allow you to freeze your membership for the time in which you are absent upon written request from you. You will need to provide proof of deployment or assignment detailing your absence and the applicable time period.
10-Packs can not be frozen.
As always, we strive to accommodate our members where possible. Please email us if you have any questions or require special accommodation. Please respect this policy, as it is very time-consuming for us to manage frozen memberships.
